Previously we entered each session into Quickbooks and tutors signed in and out each day. We are NCLB/SES Providers and send many invoices to school systems. Getting out invoices and doing payroll at the end of the month was very labor intensive. Now at the end of the month we hit a few keys and the invoices and payroll are ready to go.
When a parent wanted information about a session we used to run to the student's folder and try to decipher the tutor's notes. We hoped that the dates on the notes matched the billing statements! Now parents receive a session recap after each visit that's automatically sent to an e-mail address. We see a number of Special Education students who are referred through the school and it's easy to keep the school informed of the student's progress as well as the parents.
Since I can't always be at the Learning Styles office it's really important for me to be able to keep track of operations from wherever I happen to be. I knew that I needed a web based system and I'm very happy with CenterTrac.
